Network Engineer · CCNA · Healthcare IT
Network engineer who learned more in my home lab than I did in most classrooms. I lead healthcare network migrations (75+ switches, zero downtime), specializing in Cisco infrastructure and Python automation. My lab is where I test everything before production—new protocols, automation scripts, weird edge cases. If I can't break it at home, I'm confident deploying it at scale. CCNA and Network+ certified, DePaul Network Engineering grad, always building something.
Currently studying for CCNP Service Provider and building a BGP lab on eve.ng

Lead network infrastructure modernization for a multi-hospital healthcare system, directing switch migrations across 10+ hospital locations using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms. Full lifecycle ownership from pre-staging through post-migration stabilization, coordinating onsite engineering teams in mission-critical environments.
Desktop Support Engineer
BrainSurf Informatics Inc
Jun 2022 - Dec 2022
Provided desktop and systems support for 45+ clients in a fast-paced MSP environment while targeting a network engineering role. Managed Windows/MacOS endpoints, Active Directory, Exchange Server, and O365 administration.
Information Technology Support Technician
CMIT Solutions, Inc.
Nov 2020 - Jun 2022
Primary technical resource for a 2-person MSP supporting small business clients while completing a full course load in Network Engineering. Handled hardware troubleshooting, software deployments, network infrastructure, and client communications end-to-end.
A few of my favorite personal and professional projects.
Networking
Production toolkit used across 75+ Cisco Catalyst 9300 migrations in live healthcare environments. Automates MAC/CDP comparison, port mapping, and baseline config generation — cutting post-cutover validation by 3+ hours per site.
Networking / Security / Homelab
Dedicated DNS layer on a Raspberry Pi, integrated with a Ubiquiti Dream Machine to filter 19% of network traffic across all devices. Includes split-horizon resolution for internal self-hosted services. Running continuously since 2023.
Homelab
Self-hosted photo library managing 11,000+ files with zero open inbound ports, accessed remotely via Cloudflare Tunnel. Data persistence validated under a real application rebuild — the library survived intact.
